— Common questions

Things people ask.

Don't see your question here? Send it over — no question is too basic.
How far in advance should I book?

For real estate shoots, two to three days is usually plenty. For events — games, ceremonies, or large-scale commercial work — a week or more is preferred so I can confirm airspace, permissions, and weather windows. I do take same-day requests when the schedule allows, so it's always worth asking.

What areas do you serve?

Long Beach is home base — Bixby Knolls, Belmont Shore, Naples, Millikan, DTLB, and everywhere in between. I cover all of Los Angeles County and Orange County regularly. Anything further south toward San Diego or north toward Ventura, reach out and I'll let you know if it's feasible.

What does the price include?

Every package includes the shoot, full editing, and delivery within 48 hours. For real estate: color-corrected stills and any video work are both edited and ready for MLS, social, or print. No raw files unless specifically requested. No surprise charges for travel within LA and OC, airspace coordination, or standard editing. What's quoted is what you pay.

How do I receive my files?

Delivered via a shared Google Drive or Dropbox link, organized and labeled. Stills are high-resolution JPEGs; video as MP4. If you need a specific format for MLS, a size for print, or a branded export for social, just mention it when we talk and I'll accommodate before delivery.

Are you insured? Can you provide a COI?

Yes — fully insured for commercial drone operations, and FAA Part 107 certified. I can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming your brokerage, firm, or venue as an additional insured for projects that require it. Just request one when you reach out and I'll send it ahead of the shoot.

What happens if weather delays the shoot?

Safety and image quality both depend on conditions — I won't fly when wind, rain, or visibility would compromise either. If weather makes a shoot unsafe or the footage won't be what you need, I'll reach out as early as possible to reschedule at no charge. In Long Beach that's rarely a problem, but when it happens we'll find the next clear window together.
