Born here. Building here.

Long Beach native. FAA-certified drone pilot. Millikan class of 2025.

I'm an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot who grew up in Long Beach — preschool through Millikan, graduating in 2025. I launched 562 Aerials to bring professional aerial photography and video to the people who build, sell, and celebrate in this city.

A Belmont Shore listing shows better with aerial context than a flat ground-level shot. A Millikan championship game looks like the event it is when you have the full field in frame. A construction project in downtown Long Beach needs a visual record that holds up in a client presentation.

Alongside flying, I coach tennis at Millikan — which means I already know the coaching staff, the athletic directors, and the parents who fill the stands on game night.

Licensed, insured, and based in Long Beach. If you've got a project in the 562 — or anywhere across LA and Orange County — reach out and we'll figure out the details.

— Why 562

Local by definition.

A drone operation built around a city, not just available for it.

562 is the Long Beach area code. It shows up on local business accounts, neighborhood pages, and high school team handles across the city — shorthand that anyone from here reads immediately. The name was the obvious choice for a drone operation focused on this area.

The actual differentiator is simpler: most aerial operators covering Long Beach jobs drive in from LA or the Valley. I live here. I know the neighborhoods, the light at different times of day, and how to get airspace clearance near LGB without surprises. That shows up in the work.

— Equipment

What I fly.

For technical buyers who want to know what's in the air before signing off on a shoot.
Platform & Camera

The DJI Air 3S is a professional dual-camera platform, not a consumer drone pressed into commercial use. The wide-angle carries a 1-inch CMOS sensor — that's the spec that matters. Fourteen stops of dynamic range and 10-bit D-Log M give it latitude to hold detail in a Belmont Shore listing at dusk, or pull clean color from a Friday night game at Veterans Stadium. A 70mm tele camera covers tighter angles. 4K at 60fps across both. FAA-registered, Part 107 certified — cleared for commercial operations.

Insurance & Certification

FAA Part 107 certified for commercial remote pilot operations. Fully insured through a commercial UAV liability policy. A Certificate of Insurance naming your brokerage, firm, or venue as an additional insured is available on request — ask when we book and I'll have it to you before the shoot.

Airspace & Compliance

Airspace authorization is handled ahead of every shoot — you won't find out about a restriction the day of the job. Long Beach includes controlled airspace around LGB, and much of the LA area requires advance federal clearance before a drone can legally fly. I get that clearance through Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC), file it, and flag anything that could affect your schedule early. Part 107 commercial rules on every flight.
